Hailing from Annapolis Valley, Nova Scotia, Dan moved to Vancouver in the summer of 08. Back on the Eastcoast, he was raised in the style of metalcore, with such influences as All Shall Perish and Death's drummer Richard Christi. Growing up, Dan was constantly jamming with various bands and playing as many shows as he physically could. Three days after arriving in Vancouver, he ran into Ian at a show downtown. One thing led to another and Dan was soon jamming with Omega Crom days later. He furiously started to learn OC's set list in time for an upcoming tour, grasping all the unique tempo changes and thrash metal styles, thrown into a pit of break downs and blast beats. Just after a month of rehearsing, Dan knew this was the band he had been looking and striving for, and the rest will soon become history. |
